Atlanta’s Healthy Communities work with youth and young adults from the community, we provide 15 hours of intensive training on the Safe Drinking Water Act, Clean Drinking Water Act, Covid health and Safety, and ways to maintain our families and communities safe from pollutants and increasing awareness of risky behaviors.
Funded by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, youth have an opportunity to become leaders in their communities. Using creative means, youth, known as Community Ambassadors, create presentations and information designed to promote a healthier community and maintain natural waterways healthy and safe from pollutants.
